Game rules

Blackjack is a casino game between Player and dealer. The aim of the game is to collect a combination higher than dealer has, but not exceeding 21.

There are 6 packs, 52 cards for each new game. Packs include cards from two to Ace in each of four suits. Before the beginning of game all cards are shuffled, forming one pack of 312 cards. Cards are reshuffled each time when about 2/3 pack is used.

Cards value

  • The value of cards marked from 2 to 10 is the same as its nominal;
  • The faces have a value of 10 points;
  • An Ace can be either one or eleven. The Player with the Ace has an advantage as the value of this card can vary from 1 to 11 and from 11 to 1 depending on a total amount.

To begin a game, Player needs to make a bet on one or more boxes. Player can buy up to five boxes.

To make a bet it is necessary to click on corresponding chip and then on the box on which it should be put, or to choose a necessary chip and draw it on a game field. To cancel a bet, click on a chip with a dagger, and then click on the bet which you wish to cancel. It is possible to remove bets from all boxes at once, having pressed on the button “CLEAR BETS”. To repeat bets from the previous game you should press the button “REPEAT BETS”.

Beginning of the game

After all bets were made Player presses the button “DEAL”. Croupier will deal two cards on every bought box of the Player and 2 cards to himself. All cards are dealt face up, only the second card of the dealer is dealt face down. Blackjack is the combination of 2 cards sum of which is equal 21. Blackjack is possible only right after first dispensing.

If the dealer has an Ace as the up card he will allow the Players to insure their hands against.

Insurance is a bet that the dealer will have a Blackjack. You can put the insurance on each bought box. Amount of the insurance is depending on the initial bet in box and is equal to half of this bet.

If the dealer has a Blackjack he pays insurance 2:1. If the dealer doesn’t have a Blackjack he gets the insurance. If the Player has a Blackjack the winning boxes are paid at the 3:2 ratio.

The Player can double the initial bet in box if the combination of cards seems to be favorable. Thus the additional sum will be removed from the account of the Player, and he will receive one (and only one) additional card. After that the turn will automatically pass to the following box.

Player can double the rate only having 2 cards on a current hand.

If Player's first two cards are a pair (two face cards, or two 5) he (she) may split them into two hands. Player must also make another bet equal to initial on the second hand. Thus the splitted hands play and paid as well as usual boxes but with some restrictions.

  • Repeated split of already splitted cards is impossible;
  • If the Player has divided two Aces he will receive only one additional card on each hand;
  • The combination of 2 cards with a total value of 21 on the split hand is not a Blackjack.

After the player splitted there is only one card in each hand. The second card is dealt automatically.

If the amount on one hand is less then 21 Player choose the next step - "Hit", "Stand", "Double", "Split".

If Player is satisfied with a current combination or he is afraid to bust, he can stand and doesn't take more cards on a current hand. Thus the combination is fixed for the subsequent comparison with a combination of the dealer, and the turn goes to the following hand.

If Player considers, that for a victory it is necessary to get more points, he can take one more card, having pressed on button “HIT”. Thus the dealer will give him one more card on a current hand. Player can repeat this operation until on a current hand he will have 21. However it is necessary to remember about the bust.

If Player has asked an additional card and, thus, the sum of points has exceeded 21, the current hand is considered lost and the bet goes in the income of a casino. The other hand takes its turn.

After all of the Player's boxes are processed, the dealer takes his turn.

Rules for the dealer

Rules for the dealer are simple and don't depend on the Player's combinations. The dealer must hit until he reaches a score of 17 or more.

Comparison of combinations

After the dealer has stopped, there is a paired comparison of combinations of the Player and the dealer.

  • If dealer has the bust all Player's bets which have remained on a table are considered won and paid 1 to 1;
  • If Player has more points on a hand, than the dealer, Player’s bet on a current hand wins and it is paid 1 to 1;
  • If Player's total and dealer's total are equal, the Player keeps his bet. It is termed a "Push";
  • If Player's total is less then the dealer's total Player’s bet on a current hand loses and it goes in the casino's income.
